Here is the Ultimate Weight Loss Remedy

Are you looking for a weight loss remedy that is effective, easy to obtain and use and, best of all inexpensive? Well, here it is.

It’s water. In fact water can be your best friend in your effort to lose pounds. Here are three of water’s many benefits.

1. It is absolutely calorie and fat free. Water is probably the one thing you truly can consume all you want and still lose weight. Drink all you want and don’t worry about having to work it off later.

2. It is easy to get. Assuming you are living in one of the developed nations of the world, you can get water to drink by simply going to the tap. There is really very little excuse for not getting a sip of water whenever you need it.

3. It is “free”. While it’s not actually free (most of us do have to pay for our water supply in some way), it is still ridiculously inexpensive for most of us. You can take a drink of water whenever you feel hungry and not break the bank.

See? Water really is a great weight-loss remedy. However, many of us need to get into the habit of drinking more water. Here are some tips to help you.

There is some dispute as to how much water we need to drink every day. The old rule used to be to drink 64 oz. (that is, eight 8 oz glasses). Nowadays, there are varying rules to follow. Some experts suggest you take your goal weight and divide that number in half for the number of ounces of water you should drink. (For example, if you want to weigh 150 lbs, drink 75 oz of water.)

Another rule of thumb to follow is to watch your urine: If it is clear and nearly colorless, you are drinking enough water. If it is more golden yellow, you need to drink more.

It is very important that you drink more water before, during and after strenuous exercise to replenish the fluids you lose in sweat. Be sure to drink some water about 20 minutes before your work out, then sips of water whenever you feel the need during and after your workout.

One last tip: whenever you feel the urge to eat between meals, drink a glass of water instead. The water will fill you up and make it less likely for you to overindulge on junk food. If you have difficulty getting used to the taste of straight water after a lifetime of sodas, try weaning yourself into the habit by trying some of the calorie-free flavored waters available.

By using these tips, you will soon see that water is your perfect weight-loss remedy.
